ALL THINGS FIRE
A fire eater is an entertainer, often a street artist or part of a sideshow. The performer places flaming objects into
their mouth and extinguishes them by cutting off oxygen. They also practice controlling and transferring the flame.
FIRE ARTISTS
Audiences of all ages and backgrounds are spellbound by displays of fire-eating, -breathing, -fleshing, and -spinning. The fire arts may be presented as an ongoing sideshow act to spice up your event, as a a fully choreographed feature stage routine incorporating other circus arts... or anything in between. Acts typically range from 3-15 minutes and may include:· fire-eating (extinguishing and manipulating flames in the mouth).· fire-breathing (small fireballs and/or large vertical pillars)
· fleshing (trails of flame applied and manipulated on the body) · fire staff spinning · fire-dancing with palm torches, fire-fingers, and other specialty tools · partner or group acts with other local and visiting artists (by request; subject to availability). Certain acts may not be suitable for all locations - for example, large-pillar breathing, staff spinning, and some dance acts may require high ceiling clearance - and some venue owners/managers may not allow fire performance on site; in these cases, the act can usually be modified to accommodate these restrictions without compromising quality of performance. Technical requirements: sound system Minimum ceiling height of 12'; some acts may require additional clearance Length:- average 3-15 minutes |
